Recently, data centers have become the target of numerous corporations and organizations concerned about high energy consumption, a movement that has encouraged the industry to promote energy savings, resulting in more environmentally and fiscally responsible data center solutions. This presentation will provide sensible solutions to the problems of inefficiencies in data centers. Topics such as cooling and power plant optimization as well as other overlooked ways to save energy will also be covered. Consideration will be given to evaluating the best systems and equipment for efficient design to meet an organization’s specific business mission.
