Portfolio O&M Cost Projections: A Lesson from the Defense Department

The Department of Defense portfolio lists over 800,000 facilities worldwide. In order to perform long range budget planning for maintenance and operations, facilities have been grouped and costs modeled, resulting in objective projections that have been accepted by users and Congress. This session will described the process used by the Defense Department.
