Retrofitting with Metal Roof and Wall Systems

This session will provide attendees with a fundamental knowledge of the metal roof and wall systems used to retrofit existing buildings. Highlighted by numerous case studies, the session takes a look at two common retrofit roof applications – installation of a new metal roof over an old, conventional flat roof and over an old metal roof – and three retrofit wall applications.

Learning Objective:

1. Better understand the metal roof and wall systems used to retrofit buildings

2. Recognize the various applications for these systems in retrofitting buildings

3. Be more familiar with the opportunities to save energy with these systems
