Extending the Life of Your Roof

In this session you will learn how roof system design and selection criteria can impact the service life of a roof system. Basic roof system types will be briefly reviewed, along with expected service life and associated costs. This session will address design and maintenance problems associated with various roof systems. The session will provide the guidelines for developing a roof management program that includes conduction condition assessments, moisture surveys and prioritizing work. The program will discuss warranties, costs and service life. Finally the program will provide information on how to develop and administer an action plan to further extend roof performance.
