This course presents the details of outsourcing and out-tasking of the traditional plant engineering and maintenance function as well as other facility services.  We will present and discuss the motivation for outsourcing facility services. In addition, we will discuss the alternate contract structures available, and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Other key sections are: How to Structure, Implement, Manage, and Measure the performance of an out-sourced maintenance or facility services program, and Define the keys to a successful partnership.  Time is also spent discussing the successes and failures of outsourcing.
