Sustainable Solutions to Reduce Capital and Operating Costs at Toyota

Attendees of this session will be presented with a world-class case study reviewing the results of a fully integrated energy resource program at Toyota. The program focused on achieving truly sustainable results across the entire facilities management spectrum of a nationally dispersed portfolio of 8 million square feet using toolsets such as energy use index, real time monitoring, financial justifications, and measurement and verification. By close of calendar year 2008, the program has already avoided over $12 million in energy costs, 132 million pounds of carbon dioxide, 442 thousand pounds sulfur dioxide, and 321 thousand pounds of nitrogen oxide.
