Submission Process
5 Things Needed for a Complete Submission
- Submission Form -- Click here for online form.
- Abstract -- Limit of 50 words. Develop title and abstract as it should appear in the conference material. The conference committee has the right to edit titles and abstract for content and/or length.
- Learning Objectives -- Supply 2-3 learning objectives based on the presentation and include them on the submission form.
- Presentation Outline -- Limit one-page
- Biography -- Limit of 50 world biography per presenter. Photographs are welcomed but not required.

Session Details
- All Facility Decisions sessions are 50 minutes in total length, please allow 5-10 minutes for audience questions.
- Lecture, case study and panel sessions are the most common format; panels should be limited to three panelists and one moderator.
- PowerPoint presentations are encouraged and should be designed for readability by an audience of 100 attendees or more.
- Facility Decisions proceedings are provided to attendees. Presenters must submit their materials by September 3, 2010.
Presentation Review Process
The Facility Decisions Conference Committee will evaluate all submissions for their relevance to the building owner, facilities management professional, and maintenance engineer. Presenters emphasizing a specific product or manufacturer will not be considered.
Emergency Alternative
In the event you are unable to fulfill your obligations as a speaker at Facility Decisions, you will be asked to identify an alternate speaker who can present the material in your absence.

The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has officially certified Trade Press Publishing Corporation, the parent company of Facility Decisions, as an Authorized Provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Facility Decisions is certified to offer IACET-approved CEUs for all current training programs as well as any created during the time of certification, for the next five years. Trade Press Publishing completed an extensive application, has been reviewed by an IACET site inspector, and successfully demonstrated adherence to all ANSI/IACET Standards.
